How to Contact Instagram support? Phone number, email or other options?
If you’re here, you probably came across this number 0650-543-4800 online to reach Instagram support but you didn’t receive any help there! Because no one answers that number!
Getting in direct touch with any Facebook or Instagram employee for your problem solving isn’t possible. Are you wondering why?
Imagine what would happen if they begin to help customers via a phone line. It would be a real mess.
So, yes, kindly eliminate the phone option to reach Instagram support for your own benefit and read further.
Now, the point comes, how then? How do you reach Instagram support?
1. Contact Instagram support with your mobile app or by sending an email:
You can send an email to Instagram on [email protected]. Or you can log in to the mobile app and reach out.
This process doesn’t give a sure shot chance of having your problem solved. But, this is the only possible way that Instagram offers to reach them.
How to do it?
- Go to your Instagram mobile app.
- Click on the Settings icon.
- Scroll down to Support and select Report a Problem.
- Select “Something isn’t working” if you have any issue or “Spam or abuse” if you are facing any spamming issues.
- Once you select any of the options, mention the exact problem and hit SEND.
Turn on Shake
When you report a problem, Instagram also gives you an option to “Shake and Report.” The feature is pretty cool where every time you’re on Instagram and you shake your device, you get an option to report an issue with Instagram.
Reporting via the Instagram app is not a completely futile process. Some people get their queries solved while some don’t.
If you fall in the second category, look for some other options below:
2. Reach out to Facebook help community.
For all those who are wondering why I keep mentioning Facebook while talking about Instagram, please come back to this world. Facebook acquired Instagram in 2012 for $1 billion so you better never ask this again.
So, yes, Facebook being the parent of Instagram, you can expect them to solve your issues too.
You can reach out to Facebook help community to get your Instagram questions answered. Especially if you have an issue with Instagram ads, this is the best place to do so as Instagram ads are managed through the Facebook business manager.
Here’s a screenshot of Facebook staff helping with Instagram queries.
3. Send a message to the official Instagram page on Facebook:
Yes, the process is as desperate as it sounds! And, frankly, I haven’t even tried it because I never needed any help that badly. But, if you do only require Instagram help, you can try this too.
Go to Instagram page on Facebook and send them your query. If it works, make sure to let me know in the comments. I would try it too next time.
4. Reach out to the Redditors or Quora experts!
This would certainly be the best way to solve your Instagram problem if you don’t hear from Instagram support.
Reddit has many Instagram subreddits like r/Instagram where you can shout out your problems and someone will run to help you out.
Reddit is certainly my first option if I’m stuck anywhere. You can count on the answers for any general issue that’s not very account specific on Reddit.
Quora would be my second option to get anything solved. And sometimes you actually get answers from Instagram experts and your problems are solved in a minute. Before you type out your problem on Quora, you can also check first if it has been answered before.
Wrapping it up:
I’m quite certain at least one of the steps above is going to help you solve your Instagram issue. If nothing works, last resort would be to look for Instagram experts outside Instagram support and get your issue fixed from them.
I hope the list has helped. Let me know in the comments below the Instagram issue you face and how you got in touch with Instagram support.
