How to Make Money Blogging?Make more than $1,000/Month Ethically!
Are you having a hard time making money from your blog? With my experience and knowledge, I would like to help you make money blogging.
It’s been a year and a half since I started blogging and first few blogs neither got me traffic nor money. I was almost ready to give up when a few of my blogs started ranking on Google. One thing led to another, and within 6 months I started making more than $500 a month from my blog and it began to increase gradually.
So, how much you make from your blog depends a lot on your website traffic. If you’ve around 1000 unique visitors to your site per day, then you have a good chance of earning above $500 depending on your niche and audience geography.
I know all the other blogs talk about making money blogging by adding ads, affiliates, etc. I will maybe state the similar points but I’m going to be much more defined on how exactly you can earn.
1. Increase your AdSense/AdExchange Revenue by linking it to Ezoic:
Ezoic is a certified publishing partner of Google that can drastically help you increase your AdSense revenue and efficiently make money blogging.

2. Create your Own Shopify Store:
Believe it or not, if you’ve a blog that receives traffic, then it is a great time to start your own e-commerce store. I suggest Shopify because I made a mistake of using some other platform and later when I tried Shopify, I regretted not using it before.
Before I explain to you the benefits of using Shopify, I want to let you know the benefit of starting your own e-commerce store. The biggest example for you is WhoWearWhat. They started as fashion bloggers and now run a million dollar ecommerce store. Doesn’t that truly demonstrate the power of blogging?
Now, the question is, are you capable of managing an e-commerce store? I mean do you have a product you can actually deliver? For example, just because you can write about jewelry, doesn’t mean you can actually manufacture one. Well, in that case, it’s all about strategic partnerships. For myself, I started a marketplace that lists all marketing tools. I created eSocMedia marketplace with a vision to add all good marketing tools at a place so people can compare and invest in the right tools.
So far, I get a decent traffic on the site and I have brands that are willing to pay to be on the site. The benefit for me is that I can send my website users to my marketplace and I don’t need any outside marketing to generate traffic.
This is exactly what you got to leverage to when you begin creating your own e-commerce store. It could sound like a big step but it’s a great way to make money blogging and creating a long-term revenue model.
3. Join Right Affiliate Programs:
Do you know how many affiliate sites did I join when I began blogging? Close to 40. That’s a lot I would say. And do you know how many of them make me money? Just 3!
When I began I wasn’t smart enough to understand which affiliate programs are the best. I joined everything that read affiliate. The key to selecting affiliate program is to promote something that’s truly useful. If you’re trying to promote a bad product, you’re just wasting your money and time.
Invest in affiliate programs that will actually benefit your audience. It doesn’t matter if an affiliate sale gets you $5 or $100 per sale, what’s important is how well you promote it.
4. Get Sponsored Partnerships/Collaborations:
Sponsored partnerships is a win-win for everyone. There are always newcomers looking for some blogs to promote their business and get the word out. Promoting them on your site with a sponsored post can benefit them as well as you.
Hard part could be deciding the payment you should receive for a sponsored post on your site. Well, it hugely depends on your niche and site traffic. One of the best ideas to determine your payment would be to figure out what similar sites like yours are charging.

The points and advices above are completely based on my experience with blogging. Everyone could have different experiences and ways of making money but these are what worked for me. And the best part is that most of them are passive income methods that you can earn even if you’re not working on your blog every week.
